POLSON – It’s better to be healthy than wise; being sick costs you money but you can be stupid for free.
Senior bowling has started and I see some familiar names making their marks. Don Young had a 686 series and Cris Alter rolled 642.
Come celebrate Alice Grilley’s 90th birthday here at the senior center on Oct. 4 from 12:30-5 p.m.
A Bailey Insurance representative will be here on Oct. 6 from 1-2 p.m and again on Oct. 16 and 19. New West Insurance will be here on Oct. 20 from 9:30-11 a.m.
Again, we give many thanks to those who have shared their bounties from their gardens.
Our AARP driving course will be here at the center on Tuesday, Oct. 13. Please note that this is the correct date, not as advertised last week in the paper.
Our lunch menu for the coming week will be:
— Thursday, Oct. 1: spaghetti, garlic bread
— Friday, Oct.: soft shell tacos, potato wedges
— Monday, Oct. 5: Navy bean soup, tuna salad sandwich
— Tuesday, Oct. 6: Salisbury steak, noodles
— Wednesday, Oct. 7: pork cutlets, rice and gravy
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
