Bumgarner to present at Pachyderm meeting

POLSON — Chris Bumgarner, administrator of the Mission Valley Christian Academy in Polson, will be the guest speaker at the Friday, Oct. 23 meeting of the Lake County Pachyderm Club at the Rural Polson Fire Hall on Regatta Road. The meeting begins at noon; social time at 11:30 a.m.
Mr. Bumgarner is expected to discuss the spiritual, academic, and physical objectives of the school’s curriculum, which includes K-12 classes. He also is expected to touch on the challenges as well as the rewards of being a director of a private school, a position he took following a 23-year career in the choral music department in Polson’s junior and senior high schools.
Mr. Bumgarner is well known in the Mission Valley for his musical talent and his willingness to direct choirs and vocal groups throughout our extended community.
The quality of its schools is fundamental to a thriving community, and thus an important and timely topic. Everyone interested in learning is invited to Pachyderm meetings.
