POLSON — Kicking up colorful wet leaves along the way, an assortment of costume-clad characters braved a rainy Saturday to participate in the annual Monster Mash Fun Run/Walk at Linderman Elementary School, wrapping up last week’s Red Ribbon Week anti-drug campaign activities on Halloween day.
Fifth-grade student Jarrett Wilson screamed to the finish of the 1-mile run in 6:53 minutes while Ryan Lamphere of Polson High School earned the best time in the 5k run at 12.17.
