Polson’s Parade of Lights grew exponentially this year, exceeding the expectations of Polson Business Community organizer Jackie Cripe.
Participants “knocked themselves out,” she said.
Cripe set what she thought was an unrealistic goal of 40 entries; at the end of the night, 41 lighted floats, vehicles, horses and individuals wound throught the downtown area before the traditional lighting of the Christmas Tree on Main Street.
RSVP volunteers helped make the event run smoothly.
Cripe has heard great feedback as folks prepare for next year.
“It’s snowballing,” she said.
