POLSON — Friday evening, Dec. 4, saw a group of us piling onto Dean Durand’s decorated trailer and riding in the Parade of Lights, capping the evening with Jo Durand’s chile and toddies at the center. Sharon Kenitzer supplied the brownies. Thanks to Kelli Kinyon, Cathy Corrigan, Jo and Dean, Shirley Laisy and all who spent many hours making it all happen.
Cris Alter took high game for women at senior bowling. Alice Johnson took the high series and Sharon Sansone had the high handicap series. Don Young took top honors for the men, sweeping game, series and handicap series.
We still have a good supply of See’s Candy for your holiday giving or for you. They are $18 a box.
Our lunch menu for the coming week:
— Thursday, Dec. 17: Salisbury steak, noodles
— Friday, Dec. 18: roast pork, whipped potatoes
— Monday, Dec. 21: goulash, French bread
— Tuesday, Dec. 22: hot turkey sandwich, whipped potatoes
— Wed. Dec. 23: hamburger stroganoff, noodles
— All the meals are accompanied with vegetables and a dessert.
— Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. -12:30 p.m.
