DIXON — Please join us at the Dixon Senior Center on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, for our Christmas party. It will be after our noon Christmas dinner. You may join in the fun of exchanging gifts in a very fun way. Bring a wrapped gift, priced under $10, and marked for a man, woman, or either one. This has been entertaining in past years, and you never know what you may end up with.
We were pleased to once again, have the Dixon Honor Roll Students walk over for lunch with us at the center. The new principal, Crista Anderson, accompanied the scholars. It is a treat for both the seniors and the students to have them join us.
Our meals for the rest of this year will be:
Thursday, Dec. 17: stir fry with rice
Thursday, Dec. 24: Christmas dinner
Monday, Dec. 28: enchiladas
Thursday, Dec. 31: hamburgers and JoJo potatoes
Meals are served at 5 p.m. on Monday and at noon on Thursdays. The price is $4, which includes fruit, vegetables, bread and dessert. You may take meals home, also. All ages are welcome.
Enjoy our “interesting” weather. According to the weather channel we should have a “much warmer” winter this season.
