Students present Christmas program

 

News from Pablo Elementary School

PABLO — The annual Pablo Elementary Christmas Program will be presented on Friday, Dec.18, at 9 a.m. in the Pablo Elementary Gym. The program this year will include traditional carols, rock and roll favorites, swing style and humorous songs. All students, Kindergarten through fourth grade will be performing. This event is always worth seeing so plan now on attending and let’s support our students as they take the stage in their presentation of Christmas Comes from the Heart.

 

Take bus from Polson to jazz event

 

BIGFORK — The Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts is presenting two-time Grammy winner bassist Billy Peterson and world-renowned pianist Billy Carrothers on Sunday, Dec. 27 for an evening of jazz starting at 7 p.m. Call 406-837-4885 or go to www.bigforkcenter.org for tickets and reservations.

The Mission Valley Mariners tour bus will be available for Polson area concert-goers with preferred seating and a $15 minimum donation per passenger to the Bigfork show. Call 406-273-1888 or melanie@missionbayhome.com for information.

An added show and special live recording session will be held Dec. 28 at the newly remodeled “Old Lasalle Grange Music Hall” located at 5095 Highway 2 West in Columbia Falls (2 miles north of Glacier International Airport). Showtime is 7:30 with a piano workshop at 6 p.m.-7 p.m.

Tickets are $25 and are available at Sportsman Ski Haus locations in Kalispell and Whitefish for this limited seating event. Students attending workshop tickets are $20 at the door, which also includes the concert.
