POLSON — Blue Smoke headlines Polson’s seventh annual Winter Fest, Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Elks Club Ball Room, beginning at 5 p.m. Proceeds will benefit programs in the community that aid homeless and hungry neighbors. “Soup’s On,” a free food program, relies on this yearly fundraiser to support these efforts. “Help Us Help Others” is the theme for this year’s event. People are encouraged to attend the evening of food and live music to learn who is behind this valuable service in the community. Admission is $10, which includes a Montana Feast in the Spirit of the Valley. Desserts will feature the valley’s finest bakers who volunteer weekly at Soup’s On. Children under 10 are free. A silent auction and 50/50 drawing are also on tap. Donation items for the auction are greatly appreciated. Please join the fun at this annual gala event. Soup’s On provides a free meal weekly, Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Family Table hosts a free dinner on the fourth Friday of every month. All of these meals are served at the Wander Inn, 101 Seventh Ave. W, Polson. The meal is always free and all are welcome. The Wander Inn is located just across from Dempsey’s Pawn Shop on Seventh Ave. W. Soup’s On and the Family Table have served more than 60,000 meals since its inception.
