DIXON — February at last ... January is always soooo long. The snow is totally gone from my yard in the Banana Belt of Jocko Valley near Dixon. I know better than to think winter is over (we’ve had big snow in April), but it IS exciting to see pussy willows just starting to peek out from the stems, and signs of life in the lilacs. I am impatient to start digging and seeing what comes up this year.
Valentine decor is up in the center, thanks to Delene Tufly and Joey Hettick. Come join in our delicious meals at noon on Thursday and 5 p.m. every Monday.
The menu coming up will be:
—Thursday, Feb. 4: meat Loaf
—Thursday, Feb. 11: burritos
—Monday, Feb. 15: turkey
—Thursday, Feb. 18: taco soup, cornbread
Take-out meals are available and there is a highchair for little ones. We’d love to see you.
