News from Providence St. Joseph Medical Center

POLSON — Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson announces the arrival of pediatrician Emily Hall, D.O., who joined the family medicine staff at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center on Jan. 11. Dr. Hall’s arrival marks the first permanent pediatrician on staff at the hospital in five years, and she becomes the only full-time pediatrician serving patients from Arlee to the shores of Flathead Lake.

Dr. Hall is accepting new patients at both Providence St. Joseph Medical Clinic locations. The public can make appointments by calling the clinic in Polson, located at 6 13th Ave. East, at 406-883-8250; or by calling the clinic in Ronan, 63351 Highway 93 South, at 406-676-5680.

Dr. Hall is the first of several new physicians joining the staff this year, providing the community with access to the highest quality care, close to home.

Dr. Hall attended high school in Minot, North Dakota. She studied at the University of Vermont and Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. After attending medical school at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, she served her residency at the University of Minnesota. Before joining Providence St. Joseph Medical Center, she was employed as a pediatrician for the Puyallup Tribal Health Authority in Washington.

Her professional interests include pediatric hospital medicine, ultrasound for pediatric diagnostics and medical management, childhood obesity, pediatric mental health, adolescent medicine, wilderness medicine, global health and medical ethics.

Dr. Hall is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys backpacking, kayaking, gardening, Nordic skiing and competing in triathlons.
