News from Two Eagle River School
PABLO — Two Eagle River School will be starting the 2016-17 school year on the morning of Aug. 22 at 8 a.m. Enrollment applications are available at the school. All students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to attend a mandatory 1-hour assembly prior to the start of school.
Four sessions will be available on Aug. 17 and 18, starting at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, and 1 p.m. and again on Monday, Aug. 22 at 8 a.m and 11 a.m. Students and their parent/guardian only need to attend one of the assemblies. Students will not be scheduled into classes until they have attended one of these assembly sessions with a parent/guardian.
All parents and community members are invited to join us at noon on Monday, Aug. 22 for a barbecue lunch and to meet the staff.
Sports practices for cross country and volleyball will begin on Friday, Aug. 12 at 9 a.m. at the school. Parent permission and physical forms are available at the school and must be returned before practice can begin. (Physical forms are also available at clinics).
For the first couple of weeks, the bus routes will be as follows:
—Bus #1, Stan Healy (253-4933). Dixon: Tapia- 6:35 a.m.; Moiese: 6:45 a.m.; Charlo: Coulter’s- 6:55 a.m.; Ninepipes: Hammer -7:15 a.m.
—Bus #2, Dolly Irvine (270-9880): Elmo: Hall-6:45 a.m.; Polson: Cherry Valley School – 7:05 a.m., 7th St/7th Ave E – 7:15 a.m.
—Bus #3, Meloney Ridley (253-4792): Mission Dam Homesites – 6:15 a.m.; Mission, Long House – 6:30 a.m.; Ronan, Clarice Paul – 6:55 a.m., Woodcock – 7 a.m., Pache – 7:15 a.m., Second Circle – 7:20 a.m.
—Bus #4, Tony Garcia (212-1789): Arlee: Valley Creek-?; Wilson Store – 6:20 a.m., Brazill – 6:30 a.m.; Ronan, West Homesites – 7:10 a.m.
—Bus #5, Don Garcia (253-1768): Pablo - call to arrange ride.
If you live very far from these pickup points, please call your driver. After a couple of weeks bus routes will be adjusted based on student enrollment. If you need further information, please call the school at 406-675-0292 or call your driver after Aug. 15.
