HELENA – William Donald Martin III passed away Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena.
His mother, Norma Silverthorne-Martin, and brother, Shawn Martin precede him in death.
He is survived by his daughter Katelynn; five sons, Zacharie, Taylor, Triston, Kaynen and Brayden; father, William Donald Jr. and wife Bonnie; brothers, Steve Martin and Robert Petronek; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; as well as Chelsea, mother of his four oldest children; and Stacey, the mother of his two youngest.
Bill was born in Twin Falls, Idaho, on May 29, 1971, and spent most of his life in Lake County. Bill was a die-hard Cowboys fan and an amazing grandfather to Jayson Morgan, Katelyn Victoria and one he was unable to meet. Bill was always the life of the party and had the gift of gab. Bill had the ability to sell ice cubes to an Eskimo and maybe a car or two along the way.
He will be missed by the many friends and family who had the opportunity to have Bill in their life. In loving memory, services were tentatively set in St. Ignatius at the Long House on May 20, 2017. Call the Long House for more information.
