POLSON — Dan Salomon, a candidate for election to Montana State Senate District 47, will be the featured speaker at the Friday, Oct. 28 meeting of the Lake County Pachyderm Club.

Dan was first elected to the Montana House of Representatives in 2010 and was re-elected in 2012 and 2014. He has served on the House Business and Labor committee, House Education committee and the House Agriculture committee all three sessions. He is expected to speak on important issues currently being considered in all three of these committees.

Dan is a life-long resident of the Mission Valley. He is a graduate of Ronan High School, and following his graduation from Montana State University, he returned to the family-owned dairy, his home base for a lifetime career in agriculture. He and his wife Janey have been married 36 years and have three grown children and four grandchildren.

The Lake County Pachyderm Club meets at the Rural Polson Fire Department building on Regatta Road near the fairgrounds. Social time starts at 11:30 a.m., and the meeting begins at noon and concludes at 1 p.m. All those interested in being informed about what is going on in state government are cordially invited to attend.
