Elwood “Gene” Largent
ST. IGNATIUS — Elwood “Gene” Largent passed away Nov. 1, 2016, in Poulsbo, Washington. Gene was born in St. Ignatius, on July 2, 1945, to Roy and Margaret Largent. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; four brothers: Louis, Bill, Fred, Johnny, and his sister, Eva. His son, Douglas Largent (Maria); his daughter, Lisa Hoaas (Dan); and his three grandchildren: Brian, Matthew, and Shannon Largent survive him. He fought a long battle with complications of diabetes. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
