RONAN — Is getting control of your diabetes part of your 2017 New Year’s resolution? If so, we can help. Mountain-Pacific Quality Health, the MSU Lake County Extension Office and the Montana Geriatric Education Center are partnering together to offer free diabetes classes in Ronan. These fun, informative classes will help people with diabetes or pre-diabetes (high blood sugar) better understand how diabetes affects their bodies; better manage their diabetes; and become informed, empowered members of their health care team as they continue to work with doctors, certified diabetes educators or other health care providers to improve and maintain their health. These classes are designed for people with Medicare, but anyone with diabetes or pre-diabetes is welcome. This free series of six classes kicks off on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the Lake County Extension Office, 300 Third Ave. NW in Ronan. The class then meets every Wednesday through Feb. 8. To register, call 406-676-4271. Class size is limited.
