Keith David Mueller

POLSON — Keith David Mueller, 76, of Polson, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, of complications from Alzheimers disease. He was born on Feb. 27, 1940, in St. Maries, Idaho, to Clarence and Henriette Mueller.

Keith graduated from St. Maries High School in 1958. He completed one year of college at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. Keith married Linda Shearer April 18, 1959, in St. Maries and they made their home there until 2013 when they moved to Polson.

Keith bought his first logging truck in 1963. He sold his truck in 1979 and in 1980 bought a TD-8 Cat to log with. Until 1990 he worked for Barry Borgmann and retired in 2010.

On the weekends, Keith enjoyed boating at his river front property, camping, fishing and riding motorbikes. He also enjoyed his grandchildren and sharing his chocolate with them.

Keith was a member of the Omega Gospel Hall Church.

Keith will be greatly missed by his wife, Linda, of Polson, children, David (Rhonda) Mueller of Wasilla, Alaska, Thomas Mueller of Manhattan, California, Michael (Shannan) Mueller of St. Maries, Idaho, and Brenda (Craige) Couture of Polson; grandchildren, Ashley, Kyle, Wyatt, Alexandria, Cami, Conlon, Colton, Austin, Grant, Samantha, Kaitlin, Garrett, Jamie, Ana, Tommy, Dustin, Brandon, Brandy, Angel, Liella and Jade; great-grandchildren, Alice, Luke, Trenton, Hannah, Tristan, Addison, Troy, and Asher; sisters and brothers, Martha (Fred) Guenther, Ken (Connie) Mueller, Donny (Rita) Mueller, and Barbara Balsiger, all of St. Maries, Idaho.

Keith’s memorial will be on March 17, 2017, at Church of the Nazarene, St. Maries, Idaho, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to: Omega Gospel Hall, in memory of Keith Mueller, in care of Dennis Ducommun, 4403 St. Joe River Rd., St. Maries, Idaho, 83861.
