Well, I finally made it home. In four days’ time, we drove about 3,000 miles. Can you imagine how long it took the pioneers and wagon trains to go that far? I’m sure glad that I didn’t have to travel like that.
It is a bit of short notice, but our St. Patrick’s Day dinner is on Wednesday, March 15. This is so we can observe Lent here at the center.
The foot clinic is also on March 15, from 10 a.m.-noon.
AARP volunteers are still doing taxes here at the center every Wednesday, (except March 22). Call the center at 406-676-2371 to schedule an appointment. There is not a cost for this service, but donations to the center are always welcome.
The Bridge players are meeting at 1 p.m. on Mondays.
The Monday evening Pinochle players meet at 7 p.m. on March 20. Both card groups need more players. If you want to join either group, just show up and play.
Painting and crafts have been put on hold until after tax season is over, as they both use the same space.
Senior commodities are out next week, and you can pick them up on Tuesday after 2 p.m. and all day Wednesday. Call the Council on Aging at 406-676-2368, if you have any questions.
The COA is always in need of volunteer drivers to take people to medical appointments and shopping. Call them at 406-676-2368 if you have any questions about being a driver or about arranging a trip. They also provide housekeeping services, and a host of other services.
