POLSON — Remember last week when the power went off …no computer, cell towers down, couldn’t even brew a cup of coffee? I sat in the kitchen and talked with my wife for an hour. She seems like a nice person.

The hearing clinic will be held here on March 28 from 9-11.
Spend your Friday evenings with us playing Bingo. Games start at 7 p.m., culminating with a $100 blackout game.
Cris Alter and Fred Funke continue their winning streak at senior bowling. Cris’ 223 and Fred’s 235 games were the highest. The same two took high series with scores of 604 and 638. Alice Johnson’s 676 and Jim Funke’s 739 scores were high for handicap series.
The lunch menu:
— Thursday, March 23: Polish dogs, sauerkraut, beans
— Friday, March 24: roast turkey, whipped potatoes for birthday lunch
— Monday, March 27: taco soup, corn bread — Tuesday, March 28: hot beef sandwich, whipped potatoes
— Wednesday, March 29: baked chicken, dressing and gravy
All meals include vegetables and a dessert.
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
