Tavia Jo Nesbit

KALISPELL — Tavia Jo Nesbit received her angel wings on Friday, April 21, 2017, just a short four months after she came into the world.

On Dec. 21, 2016, Melinda Deneault and Tylor Nesbit welcomed their beautiful identical twin girls into the world; they were 12 weeks early. Tavia was born first, she weighed 1 pound, 5 ounces and she was 12 and one-half inches long. Her sister Taylor came shortly after weighing 1 pound, 9 ounces. These amazing little girls were born at 28 weeks and we knew it was going to be a fight for them both.

They began their journey in the NICU at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. Tavia went through three surgeries in her short four months in the NICU. She fought the whole time and the NICU nurses say she was the strongest little fighter they have ever seen. Thank you so much to all of her nurses and doctors for loving our little princess so much and taking such great care of her while she was with us.

On April 21, 2017, at 1:43 p.m. we lost our little Tavia Jo Nesbit to our Lord, a short two days after her last surgery. She is missed by so many and has touched so many lives and filled so many hearts with love and joy. Tavia Jo you are loved by so many and we are all so glad we got to know you for the short four months that you joined us here on earth. We will see you again, when we can join you resting peacefully in the arms of our heavenly father. You are forever in our hearts.

Tavia has joined other angels from our family in heaven. She is survived by her twin sister, Taylor Lea Nesbit, who will always remind us how precious life is. She is also survived by her mother and father, Melinda Deneault and Tylor Nesbit; her grandparents; aunts, uncles, and cousins; all of whom love and miss her dearly.

“There is no footprint so small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world.”
