RONAN – The Maidens swept Drummond in a doubleheader 8-5 and 17-0 on Tuesday, May 9.
Jaylyn Hakes hit a double and went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in the first game. Maidens’ Marissa Mock batted in five runs on two hits in the 17-0 second game victory.
In their season finale, the Maidens fell 10-0 to the hosting Libby Loggers on Saturday.
Ronan finishes the season with an overall record of 3-18.
MAC wrapped up their last week of action by winning their last three games, finishing the season with a 16-2-1 record.
On May 9, it took MAC extra innings for the 7-6 victory over Florence. Kenzie Couture was 4-for-5 at the plate with a double and three RBIs.
MAC finished the week on Thursday, with a 9-5 and 6-5 on-the-road doubleheader sweep of Plains. During the two games, Azia Rain Umphrey hit a home run, a triple, a double and drove in four runs.
Libby will host the Western B/C softball divisional starting on May 19.
On Friday, Polson belted Hardin 14-3 and outscored Havre 12-5 during the LaVerne Combo Invitational softball tournament in Butte.
The Lady Pirate batters clobbered the Hardin pitching staff for 20 total hits and Hannah Fryberger hit a three-run homer.
In the Haver game, Ashley Benson hit her first home run of the season and Fryberger hit her second home run of the day.
The game was called in the fifth inning and Saturday games were cancelled due to weather.
The season ends on Friday night as Polson hosts Whitefish.
