Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases June 30—July 13:

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Stuart H. Cowie, 32, fined $55; Carson Anthony Chisholm, 20, fined $20; Brook Janell Tobol, 20, fined $70; Kc Kul Bahadur, 38, fined $85; Robert John Gallimore, 43, fined $85; Laura L. Bermel, 57, fined $85; Carol R. Woody, 71, fined $85; Nancy Lee Curlin, 59, fined $65; Hyung Soo So, 44, fined $55; Annette Richie Rehbein, 53, fined $85; Hennesy Corin Meyer, 17, fined $55; Ryan Douglas Dkstra, 20, fined $20; Phillip Marlow Thelen, 39, fined $55; John L. Anderson, 56, fined $85; Brandie Sierra Buckless, 31, fined $55; Clint Redman Wilfley, 46, fined $55; Steward Duane Clifford, 67, fined $55; Denver Wyatt Hess, 19, fined $120.

Amber Lynn Thornton, 31, pleaded guilty to obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. She was fined $200 and charged $85 in court costs.

Dennis Patrick West, 66, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty and charged $35 in court costs.

Amanda Irene Andres, 23, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. She was fined $600, charged $85 in court costs and had her driver’s license suspended for 6 months.

Stephen Smith, 71, forfeited a $50 bond and was charged $35 in court costs for careless driving.

Shannon Marie Oakley, 21, pleaded guilty to criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. She was fined $150 and charged $85 in court costs.

Isreal Vagman, 68, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for ROW violation, failing to yield to authorized emergency vehicle/police vehicle. Vagman also forfeited a $160 fine and $25 in court costs for reckless driving, first offense.

Johanna Thompson, 45, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of negligent endangerment (substantial risk—death/serious bodily injury). She was found guilty and fined $300, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 365 days suspended.

Lindsay M. Polchies, 29, pleaded not guilty to obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. She was found guilty and fined $100, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 170 days suspended.

Nicholas Edward Whiting, 33, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $600, charged $85 in court costs, had his driver’s license suspended for 180 days and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

William Whirry, 53, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of negligent endangerment (substantial risk—death/serious bodily injury). He was found guilty and fined $300, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 365 days suspended.

Tia Dawn Schonhoff, 55, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, second offense. She was found guilty and fined $1200, charged $85 in court costs, had her driver’s license suspended for 12 months, and was sentenced to 365 days in jail with 360 days suspended.

David A. Steward, 43, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for failure to stop at invasive species management area check station.
