News from St. Luke Community Healthcare

RONAN – Members of the Ronan Seventh-Day Adventist Church came together with one goal in mind, making sure the newborn babies at St. Luke Community Healthcare go home with a beautiful gift. Church members collect money for supplies and create the layettes as part of a passion project.

New parents receive a cozy package for their newborn consisting of goodies such as a blanket, onesies and two sets of pajamas.

“The layettes provide a wonderful keepsake for our parents,” said Tabitha Normandeau, OB Nurse Supervisor. “We greatly appreciate the church group’s loving work.”

“What a wonderful gift these ladies provide for our newborn babies. They keep the cabinet stocked full of beautiful baby layettes of many different colors and sizes,” said Leah Emerson, Director of Nursing.

St. Luke Community Healthcare delivers an average of 160 births per year as part of the largest healthcare provider network in Lake County.
