POLSON – A 43-year-old Ronan man has been charged with criminal possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute after police allegedly found 15 grams of methamphetamine and 14 loaded firearms in his home on Dec. 30, 2016. Brian Francis Charette was arrested in that case in which police also allegedly found $2,011 in cash, a digital scale and baggies of methamphetamine in the home. Charette pleaded not guilty on Feb. 15 and has a jury trial set for Sept. 18. A motion to suppress evidence and dismiss the case was set for Aug. 23. While out on bond in that case, Charette allegedly sold 2 grams of meth for $160 to a confidential informant on June 2, according to a court document. He was arrested and bond was set at $50,000, but he later bonded out. He pleaded not guilty to possession of dangerous drugs on Aug. 9 and a jury trial was set for Jan. 16.
