POLSON – Timberjack, a feature-length movie filmed in 1955 in Glacier National Park, will be shown at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26 at the Miracle of America Museum.

In the late 1800s Montana, two competing logging operators clash over ownership of a logging railroad, land and timber clear-cutting rights.

Croft Brunner (David Brian) and Tim Chipman (Sterling Hayden) are timber company rivals. Tim can’t be sweet-talked to stop seeking revenge on his rival, who murdered his father. To add fuel to the already tense rivalry, the good-hearted but fiery saloonkeeper Lyne Tilton (Vera Ralston) is the girl both men crave.
