2017 candle lighting memorial ceremony held

POLSON — The Lake Funeral Home, Shrider Thompson Funeral Home, Partner’s in Home Care/Hospice and Providence St. Joseph Medical Center offer a chance for those who have a lost a loved one to honor them with a candle lighting ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home, 101 Sixth Ave. E in Polson.
“This is an ecumenical ceremony open to the public, which will allow the natural feelings of sadness along with joy and happiness of the holidays. To help all of us reflect on the memories we cherish,” said St. Joseph Chaplain John Payne.
This warm ceremony is designed to help those who have lost a loved one to remember them in a uniquely personal way. A candle will be given to all attendees and a paper dove will be given so that wishes can be written on it and then placed on the holiday tree.
Refreshments will be served.
