News from the Northwest Ballet

BIGFORK — The Northwest Ballet has been providing dance to families in the Flathead for 40 years and bringing The Nutcracker to audiences for 30 years. This season boasts another great production of talented Northwest Ballet Company dancers, passionate Northwest Ballet School students, dedicated community guest participants, colorful costumes, eclectic props, dynamic choreography, beautiful backdrops, majestic lighting, a timeless Christmas story, and of course composer Tchaikovsky’s unmatched music. Regarding her last season with the Northwest Ballet Company, Principal Julia Esakoff had to say, “After dancing for fifteen years, I’m so excited for my twelfth Nutcracker performance, and dancing the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy.”
