POLSON — Who shook the snow globe?

Commodities will be sorted and packaged here on Tuesday, Jan. 16. You can pick them up after 1 p.m.

Unfortunately, due to a scheduling change, the toe-nail clinic was not held today, Jan. 10. We feel badly for those who braved the weather to come in for that. However, it will be on Jan. 11, so if you have read this letter today when the paper came out you can still make it.

The veterans’ representative will be here on Jan. 16 from 10 a.m.-noon.

The Thursday pinochle group is going great guns; our bridge group, not so much. Some of our bridge players moved and others are “snow-birding.” We’ll have to see what warmer weather brings.

Our supply of See’s candy continues to dwindle. Act now to get yours.

There will be Tai Ji Quan classes here beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 9. The classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-11 a.m. and will run for 12 weeks. These classes help improve balance, mobility and physical/mental well-being. There is a $50 fee for the 12-week class; $35 for senior center members.

At Tuesday’s senior bowling, Cris Alter scored high game and series while Sharon Sansone had the best handicap series. Tim Basta swept high game, series and handicap series for the men.

Our AARP tax preparers will start here on Thursday, Feb. 1, and every Monday and Thursday after that until the deadline. Call 406-883-4735 to make an appointment.
