POLSON — Kyle Butterhof, of Polson, passed away unexpectedly last week. He was 26 years old.
Kyle was born Sept. 24, 1991 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, to Cindy Bellick and Joseph Butterhof. In his youth, Kyle enjoyed tubing and rafting on Flathead Lake.
Kyle graduated from Polson High School in 2010. While there, he enjoyed art and computers. He studied art fundamentals, drawing and design, painting, sculpting and advanced art. He was chosen as the outstanding male senior for art and computers.
Kyle is survived by his mother, Cindy of Polson; father Joseph of Perma; and brother James Butterhof of Polson; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins in New Jersey.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, at the Lake Funeral Home at 101 Sixth Ave. E, Polson. A reception after the service will be held at noon at the Polson Elks Lodge at 512 Main Street.
In lieu of flowers, Kyle’s family asks that donations be made to the Sunburst Mental Health Foundation in Kyle’s name at 103 Whitewater, Suite A, Polson, MT 59860.
