Leah Sheumaker
HUSON — Leah Sheumaker, age 76, passed away in her sleep on June 2, 2018. She was born in Polson, on Sept. 26, 1941. Leah attended schools in Ronan and worked various jobs in the area. She loved the outside, gardening, camping, fishing, etc. and was devoted to her children and husband.
Leah is preceded in death by her parents, Ellliott and Marion Menzie; her brother, James Menzie and her sisters, Viola Crouch, Vernie Harrell, and Pat Knutson.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; her three children, Ken Ogden, Jeff Ogden (Kim), and Val Frisk (Tom) and four step-children, Val Hertz (Chris), Jay Sheumaker, Mike Sheumaker (Kim), and Greg Sheumaker (Patty).
Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Ronan Cemetery with a celebration of life at the North Crow Club House to follow.
