POLSON — Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
Safeway Pharmacy will be administering flu and pneumonia shots on Friday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. That’s also the date of September’s birthday lunch.
Senior bowling kicked off last Tuesday with Frannie Basta showing off with a pair of 232 games, capturing the women’s high series. Cris Alter had the high game with 244 and Jack Adamson took high game and series with scores of 254 and 659. We welcome new bowler, Hal Lanier. New to us but we could tell that this was not his first rodeo, rolling some real decent scores.
The menu for the coming week is:
— Thursday, Sept. 20: country ribs, whipped potatoes
— Friday, Sept. 21: homemade pizza, corn
— Monday, Sept. 24: creamy pea soup, tuna salad sandwich
— Tuesday, Sept. 25: Sheperd’s pie
— Wednesday, Sept. 26: sweet and sour chicken, country noodles
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Vegetables and a dessert are included with meals.
