POLSON — Daylight saving time ended last Sunday. I hope you didn’t forget to set your scale back ten pounds.
A few weeks back when we had a problem with one of our freezers, Super 1 came to our rescue and allowed us to keep some of our food in their freezer. Thank you, Super 1.
Liz King, like cream, rose to the top at senior bowling on Tuesday. Her 199 game was high for the women. She also had the high handicap series with a score of 707. Cris Alter had a high series score of 574. Jim Funke swept men’s game with a score of 278, series with a score of 659 and handicap series with a score of 770.
The veterans’ representative will be here on Nov. 13 from 10 a.m.-noon.
Another AARP Safe Driving class will also be held here on Nov. 13.
On Nov. 14, get your toenails trimmed from 9-11 a.m.
The menu for the coming week is:
— Thursday, Nov. 8: hamburger steak, noodles
— Friday, Nov. 9: deli-sandwich, macaroni salad
— Monday, Nov. 12: beef noodle soup, tuna sandwich
— Tuesday, Nov. 13: hot pork sandwich, whipped potatoes
— Wednesday, Nov. 14: Stroganoff, noodles
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Vegetables and a dessert are included with meals.
