FLATHEAD LAKE – Flathead Lake trout anglers are working hard to increase their fish totals before the 2018 fall fishing event ends on Nov. 11 at 3:00 p.m.

The fish fry for friends and family will begin at 4 p.m. Entries will be taken until the last day of the event. There is no entry fee. It only takes one ticket entry to qualify for the lottery drawings. Prizes will be awarded on the last day.

The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes sponsored the event. The events are used as a fisheries management tool to reduce numbers of non-native lake trout in Flathead Lake and increase the numbers of native bull trout and westslope cutthroat trout.
