Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases from Oct. 12 to Nov. 8:
Mark Anthony Davidson, 32, pleaded not guilty to theft, obtain or exerts unauthorized control over property, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $1,500 with $1,400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended. Davidson was ordered to pay $5 in restitution.
Eric B. Thornton, 32, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty and fined $500 with $400 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
Terry Lee Wright, 62, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for careless driving.
Andrew James McCaughlin, 32, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty and charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended
Cole Robert Gorton, 35, was found guilty of reckless driving, first offense. He was fined $300 with $100 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended.
Brandon Paul Mastel, 36, pleaded not guilty to criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. He was found guilty and fined $400 with $400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended. Hill was also found guilty of partner family member assault, causing reasonable apprehension of bodily injury in partner/family member, first offense. He was fined $100, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 364 days suspended.
Jason S. Hill, 37, was found guilty of endangering the welfare of a child, first violation. He was fined $900 with $900 suspended and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
Arion S. Batson Jr., 25, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $300 with $100 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
Jasmin Marie Dobson Trujillo, 19, pleaded guilty to careless driving. She was fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.
Dayton Lee Conrad, 19, pleaded not guilty to failing to notify owner after accident resulting in damage to property/fixture/ along highway, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $500 with $500 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 20 days in jail with 20 days suspended. Conrad was ordered to pay $175 in restitution.
Andrew Earl Perkins, pleaded not guilty to careless driving. He was found guilty and fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.
Anthony J. Leyba, 27, pleaded not guilty to reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $300 with $100 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended.
Fisher Michael Niemeyer, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $300 with $100 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
Cassidy Joy Johnson, 33, pleaded guilty to careless driving. She was fined $60, charged $25 in court costs and ordered to pay restitution of $500.
James Michael Oberembt, 65, pleaded guilty to turning when unsafe to do so. He was fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.
Jacqueline Gladys Byrnes, 80, pleaded guilty to ROW violation, failing to yield to approaching traffic (immediate hazard) when making left turn. She was fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.
Paul James Summers, 46, pleaded guilty to following too closely, reasonable and prudent. He was fined $50 and charge $35 in court costs.
Michael Martin, 50, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $300 with $100 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
Dorraina J. Sandberg, 55, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving without a valid driver’s license. She was fined $400 with $400 suspended and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
David Michael Zeblisky, 57, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked, first offense. He was fined $550 with $300 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 2 days in jail with 2 days suspended.
Aaron Frank Hanson, 61, pleaded not guilty to failing to driving to right of roadway except when passing. He was found guilty and fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.
Cole Daniel Ryan, 25, pleaded guilty to careless driving. He was fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.
Caleb Daniel Allred, 30, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for careless driving.
Brian Richard Robinson, 45, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was fined $2000 with $1400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended.
Julie Louise Corwin, 59, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for traveling wrong direction, one way street or highway.
Kyle James Clendenin, 20, pleaded guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (over age 18) – first offense. He was fined $100 and charged $85 in court costs.
Cecilia Voise Schaff, 61, forfeited a $100 bond and $35 in court costs for violation of commission or department order or rules.
Cory Michael Phillips, 30, pleaded guilty to theft, obtain or exerts unauthorized control over property, third or subsequent offense. He was fined $500 with $400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 360 days suspended and credited with 5 days.
James R. Toll, 34, forfeited a $100 fine and $85 in court costs for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.
Tessa Caitlin Skotnicki, 28, pleaded not guilty to failing to yield ROW to pedestrian when obeying green traffic signal. She was found guilty and fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.
Anthony Kevin Reid, 53, forfeited a $200 fine and $35 in court costs for driver ill or fatigued.
Rory Ray Richardson, 40, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for improper passing, in no-passing zone.
