News from the Montecahto Club
FINLEY POINT – The Montecahto Club will meet at the Finley Point Grill on Wednesday, March 13, at 1 p.m. In addition to their regular agenda, club members will be making wine-and-cheese baskets to donate to the Special Olympics fundraising auction.
The club’s busy winter has included baking more than 75 pies for Polson’s community Thanksgiving dinner, donating to the local food pantry, volunteering to cook and serve at Polson’s soup kitchen, providing homemade desserts for the soup kitchen’s February fundraiser and creating home-baked Valentine’s Day goodie-and-flower packets for local nursing home residents. This spring, the club women will provide their annual scholarship to a graduating Polson High School student, and hope to make an additional annual scholarship available as well. In late June, the club will hold another fundraising garage/bake sale in coordination with Finley Point Volunteer Fire Department Fundraiser, at the firehouse.
