POLSON — We will start a new Classic Country Jam at the Elks, in Polson, effective Sunday, July 7, from 2–5 p.m. This will take the time slot of the Northwest Accordion Association Jam, (recently disbanded), who played on the first Sunday of each month. We are trying to continue providing the community with a place to jam to classic country music, dance, listen and socialize with family and friends for a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. All are welcome. Players and singers will need to sign in at the first table entering the ballroom, must have their own equipment and have their songs picked and ready to sing or play when it’s their turn. Players and singers don’t pay but all others will pay $5 each at the door. Water and coffee will be provided in the ballroom. You will be able to purchase drinks in the bar.
