POLSON — Thursday mornings at 10:30 a.m. from June 20-Aug. 8, the North Lake County Public Library will have space-centered children’s programming. Crafts and activities will be included with each presentation. Martin Horejsi, Associate Professor of Instructional Technology and Science Education, Solar System Ambassador for NASA, and longtime meteorite hound, will run a youth-oriented program on the Moon, Mars and Meteorites on Thursday, June 20. This presentation will be followed by a hands-on activity suitable for school-aged kids. Martin Horejsi will follow up the youth program with a second program for adults: “Meteorites: An Inconvenient Science” at 1 p.m.
