News from Two Eagle River School
Two Eagle River School will be starting the 2019-20 school year on the morning of Aug. 22, 2019 at 8 a.m. Enrollment applications are available at the school and may be dropped off any time but a parent/guardian of new students must personally bring the paperwork in and meet with a school official. All students and a parent/guardian must attend a 20-minute interview with a school board representative; interviews will be held on Aug. 9, Aug. 12-15, and on Aug. 22. Students will not be scheduled into classes until they have completed an interview. Please call 406-675-0292 to schedule an interview time; drop-ins are welcome but may have to wait for an available time slot.
Sports practice for boys’ and girls’ cross country will begin on Friday, Aug. 9. Parent permission and physical forms are available at the school and must be returned before practice can begin. For the first couple of weeks, bus routes are as follows:
Bus No. 1: Mike Kenmille - 407-5776 - Hot Springs at 6:40 a.m.; Elmo Hall at 7:10 a.m.
Bus No. 2: Tony Garcia - 406-253-8817 - Ronan W at 7 a.m.; Pablo off the beaten path areas – call the school to arrange ride.
Bus No. 3: Meloney Wolf - 406-210-1141 - Dixon Agency at 6 a.m.; Moiese Valley at 6:15 a.m.; Charlo Coulter’s at 6:55 a.m.; Ronan Woodcock at 7:05 a.m.; Pache at 7:15 a.m.; Second Circle at 7:20 a.m.
Bus No. 4: Kim Sheumaker - 406-239-2143 - Evaro Lovegrove at 6:15 a.m.; Arlee Wilson Store at 6:25 a.m.; Ravalli at 6:55 a.m.; St. Ignatius Longhouse at 7:15 a.m.; Ronan Town Pump at 7:30 a.m.
Bus No. 5: Dolly Irvine - 406-270-9880 - Polson Cherry Valley School area at 6:45 a.m.; Turtle Lake at 7:15 a.m.
These times are approximate. If you live very far from these pickup points and need to arrange another pickup point, please call your driver during the week of Aug. 19..After a couple of weeks bus routes will be adjusted based on student enrollment.
