POLSON – Korren Fehrenbach, 25, of Polson, was employed as a Lake County Sheriff’s Office detention officer and was arrested on Tuesday, April 28.
According to Lake County Sheriff Don Bell, an internal affairs investigation uncovered details leading to the arrest. Fehrenbach was charged with one count of official misconduct, two counts of transferring of illegal articles into a detention facility and one count unauthorized communication with an inmate.
“Fehrenbach is no longer employed by the Sheriff’s Office,” Bell said. “Due to the confidential personnel-related matters in this case, no further details will be released by the Sheriff’s Office into the matter.
