Ronan Library District announces summer schedule, programs

RONAN — The Ronan Library District is open and providing services on a limited basis to balance patrons’ needs and ongoing safety. Current hours of service are Tuesday thru Friday, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Everyone is required to wear masks and respect social distancing while in the library. Patrons are limited to approximately 15 minutes in the library.
Summer Reading Program registration for “Imagine Your Story,” begins June 22. Register online at: ronanlibrary.readsquared.com or in person at the library. Reading, family activities, and other “missions” will earn participants tickets for grand prize drawings, including 10 different prize packages at the end of the summer. Children and tweens registering for the program may pick up a Creativity Kit that includes basic art supplies, craft instructions, and ideas for summer activities. This year, summer story times will be held in Ronan Park beginning on Thursday, June 25, with facemasks and social distancing required. The toddlers and preschoolers program is on Thursdays at 11 a.m. The elementary school students’ program will be on Thursdays at 1 p.m.
