News from the Polson Police Department

POLSON — On Thursday, Dec. 10, in the afternoon, a black Jeep was seen following a UPS truck around the southeast side of Polson. The occupant or occupants of the Jeep were removing packages left by the UPS delivery person.

“We are reaching out to the public that may be missing packages that were delivered on the 10th,” said Polson Police Department Sergeant George Simpson. “If you are missing any packages or have information regarding the suspicious vehicle or its occupants, please call an officer at 406-883-7301. If you have surveillance footage from a home security system that may be useful, please notify the Polson Police Department.”

“While we are pursuing all leads in this case, any information provided would be helpful,” Simpson said.  “It is through partnerships, such as this, that we continue to make Polson a safe and pleasant place to live, work and play. Thank you so much for being a vital part of our community.”
