News from the North Lake County Public Library
POLSON — Mobile Hotspots are now available for check out. You can check out these mobile hotspots for seven days at a time. You can connect any device (smartphone, laptop, computer) and access the internet wherever there is cell service. You must have a North Lake County Public Library District card. If you don’t have a card, stop in and get one. They’re free.
The library has a new mobile app. We are excited to announce the availability of the new Montana Shared Catalog application. Available for iOS and Android, this app makes it easy to use the library even if a patron is not physically in the library. This app replaces the current app, named “BookMyne.” The library would like all members to know that the former app should be uninstalled from their devices and the new app is available for download.
The Partners Sharing Group is exploring ways of increasing the availability of new materials to patrons and making hold fulfillment more efficient. Some new items may be marked for “local holds only” before becoming available to readers at all libraries. As we move through this process, we will provide an opportunity for feedback on your experience browsing the collection and placing holds.
The library is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. We are also open Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m.-10 a.m. for the vulnerable population. Curbside pickup is available for everyone from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday – Friday. Masks are required.
