ST. IGNATIUS – Glacier Lake School, Montana’s first, and only, self-directed democratic school, celebrated two graduates. Rachel Brown and Elina Moore received their diplomas on June 16.
Brown has served as school meeting secretary, law clerk and has been an active part of the Art Corporation. She also performed in the school’s play. Moore also performed in the play, and she took part in sign language and Spanish classes.
Both of the graduates completed the Glacier Lake School graduation challenges, demonstrating their values, life skills and service to community. For their service challenge, the two teamed up to clean the Arlee basketball court and its surrounding area.
