RONAN — Margaret Jean (Marge) Fay, age 77, passed away on July 21, 2021, at her home in Ronan, surrounded by her family. She was born on Dec. 23, 1943, in Polson, to William and Agnes (Bubnash) Skabronski. Marge graduated high school and also completed college courses.
Marge was married to Jack Fay on May 12, 1967. While raising their family, she was the bookkeeper for the various family businesses. Marge was the past president of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary in Ronan.
Marge was preceded in death by both of her parents and two brothers, William and Joseph Skabronski.
Marge is survived by her husband, Jack Fay; her sons, Brent (Maxine) and John Jr. (Jeannine); her grandsons, Tyler, Colby, and Jordan; her sisters, Lorraine Peck, Mardell Lockwood, Willie Johnson and Elizabeth Ellis; and her brother, Carl Skabronski.
A memorial service celebrating Marge will be hosted by the VFW Women’s Auxiliary on Aug. 21, 2021, at 2 p.m. at the Ronan VFW Hall. Potluck to follow. Bring your favorite dish and enjoy some fellowship.
