ST. IGNATIUS — The Arlee Scarlets weathered a hard-fought loss to the Mission Lady Bulldogs Oct. 9 before hosting St. Regis Saturday.

“We all played together, and they all had their moments,” coach Brian BigSam said. “The girls did a great job against Mission … very intense games.”

Against St. Regis, the Scarlets won 25-12, 25-10, 25-13.

“Violet Pablo and Alexis Shick had some amazing hits and (are) only going to get better,” BigSam said.

Of Arlee’s 21 aces, Skyla Perry and Violet Pablo contributed seven each. Bailey Rice led in digs with five, followed closely by Whitney Malatare with four and Pablo, Amelia North and Morgan Malatare with three apiece. Shick had 10 kills to lead the Scarlets, and North tallied 11 assists.

Arlee hosts Noxon Thursday and Hot Springs Saturday for senior night at 6 p.m.
