ST. IGNATIUS — The Plains Horsemen had no chance against a fired-up Mission Bulldog football team Friday night. The home team gained an early advantage and held on for a 33-0 victory over the visiting Plains squad.

Seniors Dylan Evan, Nikko Alexander and Barret Sargent showed true Bulldog spirit through the game, according to head coach Rich Ferris.

“The positive senior leadership was the highlight of the game,” he said. “The three proven leaders showed the untested players how to withstand adversity and support for each member of the team.”

With no question as to who was on top in the competition, every geared-up member of the football team had an opportunity to see the field, Ferris added.

“Congrats to the student athletes who were able to demonstrate integrity, achieve excellence, work hard, gain respect and share responsibility,” he said.
