It’s official: the Kuilix Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is now accepted as part of the national organization.
The highlight of the Dec. 8 meeting at the Red Poppy in Ronan was a phone call to the Washington, D.C., headquarters to acknowledge our last “organizing” meeting for the proposed Kuilix chapter. Our group of 20 women heard loud and clear, on speakerphone, that the board had just convened, recognizing our local chapter. Our membership is rapidly growing and we invite all prospective members to join our meetings. A January meeting will be announced soon. For more information, call Bonnie Huber at (406) 745-3118.
