CUT BANK — The Mission Bulldogs were stopped short in Cut Bank last weekend, 37-0.

Raymond Matt fought hard for the Bulldogs, covering a lot of ground and turning in about 16 tackles, head coach Rich Ferris noted. Matt had seven carries for 11 rushing yards to make a season total of 60 rushing yards.

“It was a tough game,” Ferris said. “We’re trying to not let (the Cut Bank loss) affect this week’s practice … trying to refocus and move on from the past.”

Dylan Evans completed three of 11 passes for 46 yards and had 18 rushing yards on 11 carries. Stephen Bravo carried the ball three times for 15 yards.

On defense, Nikko Alexander and Evans each had 12 tackles.

The Bulldogs host Eureka at 7 p.m. Friday.
