Seniors bowl for fun, friendship, exercise
POLSON — The senior league, 50 years of age and up to whatever, meets weekly at the Sportspage Bowl for fun getting together with old friends and meeting some new ones as well. You don’t have to bowl well since it’s just for fun and a little exercise. Some of us bowl really low scores and others bowl very well but it doesn’t matter. We meet every Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. and there is no fee on the weeks you are unable to bowl. If you are interested, please give Frani Basta a call at (406) 883-1125 and she’ll get you signed up. They are a great group of people.
Thank you again to all of you who are bringing in fresh veggies and fruit. It is really appreciated and helps out our nutrition program a lot.
We will have our flu shot clinic again this year on Oct. 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 pm. Ernie and his crew from Safeway will work the clinic again this year.
The AARP driving class will be held here at the center in October. The class is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 16. The class starts at 9 a.m. and is usually over by 2:30 p.m. or 3 p.m. If you are interested in taking this class, please call (406) 883-4735 and we’ll get you on the list.
