Deadlines are approaching for the Salish and Kootenai high school all-star basketball team selections to attend and participate in the AMERIND All West Native American Basketball Classic April 4-7 in Denver, Colo. It is not too late to show your interest.
If you are interested in playing on the 2013 teams, high-school aged girls can contact Juan Perez at (406) 261-6938 or Silas Perez at (406) 203-6662; high-school aged boys can contact Zack Conko-Camel at (406) 270-5474 for upcoming workout schedules.
As a reminder, the following requirements must also be met: 1) be high-school aged (cannot be over the age of 19); 2) currently enrolled in high school; 3) be an enrolled tribal member or have parent(s) who are enrolled; 4) must have commitment and desire to achieve; 5) must attend workout sessions; 6) must be drug-free.
