ST. IGNATIUS — This Friday, March 29, the St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center spring fling will begin with a bake sale, just in time for Easter celebrations. The center needs kitchen remodeling and some new appliances. Funds generated during several spring fling activities will go toward that project. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will match funds by donating $1 for every $2 raised, up to $620. That same Friday, will also be a raffle for a basketful of spring items. Tickets will be sold for $1 each. The first week of April will include events with a Caribbean Pirates theme. Beginning Tuesday, April 2, at the noon meal, there will be pirates’ plunder silent auction that will continue until after lunch on Friday, April 5. Silent auction items will be on display in the center and bids will be taken all week.

There will be a “like new” items treasure trove sale beginning Tuesday, April 2, that will go through Friday, April 5.

The Wednesday evening meal will feature a Caribbean live mystery auction. At the end of the auction, you may keep or trade your booty.

On Friday, April 5, there will be a Galley Bake sale along with the noon meal and Treasure Trove Sale. On Saturday, April 6, there will be a “goodies to go” sale in Rod’s Harvest Foods from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
